The video that I watched was about hurricanes. It talked about how fast it needs to form the hurricane it talks about how fast it can go up to. What consist to be formed. The parts of a hurricane and the damage it could do.

What is the most calm part of the hurricane?

the most harmful place in a hurricane is the eye wall and the least harmful place in a hurricane is the eye and it is 200 miles per hour.

Summary: This video is about hurricanes.Hurricanes are tropical storms that have winds exceeding 74 mph. They are caused from the heating of tropical oceans and spinning winds. They cause flooding because of storm surges, these are walls of water that get pushed inland by wind.In a day, these storms can release the energy equivalent to half a million small atomic bombs. In the eye wall, the winds can exceed 200mph.In the center is the eye of the storm, a calm place.Scientists are trying to find ways to predict the path of hurricanes.

Question: How do storm surges cause damage?

  5. iv learned that the most extreme weathering is from lighting bults witch kills millions of people each year. also in the video it states that hurricanes are made up mostly in south America also tornadoes and e.c.t. these extreme weathers cause a lot of damage and cost o lot of money to repair houses buildings and jobs. another ting I heard was that while other people try to stay away from this natural disaster some others chase after it so they can video tape it and find out more so next time they can be more aware of it. one question I have is how do these storms get started and brake out in the open?

This video was about how hurricanes are made and the destruction it can cause. Hurricanes only hit North America 2 or 3 times a year. But when they do hit, they cause death and injuries to people within the area and are not in hiding ( like a basement). It can also bring a storm surge ( a big wave ) that will also cause most of the destruction, which costs billions of dollars to fix. Hurricanes will form only when there is very warm, tropical weather, over a ocean or sea to form.

Hurricanes are violent storms that form in tropical areas, they realease as much energy in a day as the explosion of half a millon bombs. They most occur during summer or fall, they form when warm water, moist air, wind mix into a hotspot. One of the most danergrous place to be in a hurricane is at the center, known as the red zone. Also how it stretches about five hundred miles in diameter and with a height about nine miles long. The good thing is meteorologist have been observing these hurricanes by using hurricane hunters. Hurricane hunters are airplanes that fly above the hurricane and drop down sensors. Sensors are used to record the air pressure, wind speed, and temperature, that way meteorologist can identify the situation.Till this day meteorologist are still trying to find faster ways in which they can help identify if a hurricane is coming are way before it comes to us first.

What are ways in which we can prevent the next hurricanes before it gets to us ?

Question- How many mph does a tropical storm have to be in order to become a hurricane?

Hurricanes are giant storms that happen in the world's tropical seas. They form in the summer and fall when the sun heats big stretches of tropical to over 82 degrees. When winds exceed 39 mph, a tropical storm develops. When they reach 74 mph, a hurricane is occurring. The most violent section of a hurricane is the eye wall. Winds up to 200 mph spiral upward. Most hurricanes occur over sea. Hurricanes can cause great damage when hey hit. Special planes called "hurricane hunters" fly directly into hurricanes and drop censors to measure wind speed, temperature, and air pressure that provides clues as to where the hurricane is heading. Three-dimensional models also provide more accurate information about hurricanes.

Summary: A hurricane also call cyclone and typhoon. Hurricanes only form in summer or fall, when the temperature is over 82 degree. The wind speed of a hurricane can be over 72 miles per hour. Hurricanes can stretch over 500 miles diameter, the height can be over nine miles. The most dangerous part of a hurricane is the storm surge. It is the most harmful. There're 49 thousands people were killed by the harricanes in 20 century. 15 thousands were in the U.S. The natural disaster of the hurricanes causes economic lose over 25 billion dollars in the united stated. Scientists are searching for better ways to study about hurricane. The plane call hurricane hunter measure the wind speed and the length of hurricane, it helps scientists to study. The winds go up to 39 mikes per hour to form a tropical storm. The most dangerous storm is a storm surge. I learned that cyclones and typhoons are huge hurricane.
I learned that Hurricane Andrew was the most expensive storm. A hurricane forms up to 74 miles per hour. Hurricanes can release as much energy as half a million atomic bombs. These storms form in the summer and fall when the ocean is at a certain temperature. They also form when clouds form over the water in a circular motion. When wind reach 74 mph, a hurricane is officially formed. The most dangerous is the storm surge. Hurricane Andrew was the most expensive hurricane in U.S. history. Lastly new technology is helping predict when these disasters will happen.

Summary: Hurricanes cause lots of damage every year. They occur all year round around the world. They come with lots of wind, rain and waves. They can be called cyclones or typhoons and they form in the summer and fall. There are hot spots around the tropical zones where the warm, moist air rises and that creates thunderstorms. Hurricanes are very costly because of the fact that they aren't very predictable. Although scientist are trying to make better prediction so that everyone can be prepared, it hasn't worked out that way. Hurricanes are very powerful and may cause fatal injuries. Many science models are helping scientists find out more about the hurricanes speed while its taking place. Hurricanes take place when the sun heat vast stretches tropical oceans to over 80 degrees. Warm and wet climates rise on the hotspot causing thunder storms, upper level winds then connect and form a hurricane.

When do hurricanes form and at what speed is needed for a hurricane to become "official"?
Hurricanes are usually formed in the summer and fall. This is due to large areas of tropical ocean being heated up to 82 degrees. A hurricane is "officially" born when winds reach 74 miles per hour and above. However, a tropical storm is created when winds reach and surpass 39 miles per hour.

Weather is dependant on the complex interactions between the air, waterand heat from the sun. Earth is impowered by the sun with hot air near the equator, and cold air further away from it. Wind pushes masses of warm and cold air away from where they formed, the air mass crashes in a place called fronts often where thrunderstorms or other dangerous weathers happen. Weather affects are calmer in warm fronts but wilder in cold fronts. Ice crystals grow heavy enough and fall to the earth, which causes rain, but if the air temperature is below freezing it causes snow. Lastly if the water drops are exposed to temperature above and below freezing before it hits the ground it falls as sleet/hail. Meteorology tells us what the upcoming weather is, meteorologist tell us that, which is how we know the weather.

    Summary
Violent wind, strong rain, and killer waves cause a hurricane. An average hurricane release as much energy in a day as the explosion of half a million small atomic bombs. Hurricanes form in the summer and fall when the sun heats tropical areas. Warm moist air rises over tropical spots and create thunderstorms. Upper and surface wind come together and form a circular pattern of clouds called tropical depression. When the wind exceed 39 miles per hour a tropical storm was developed. When the wind reach 74 miles per hour it creates a hurricane. The most dangerous is a storm surge. It is a wall of water that is near the coast made by hurricane.
